SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a March 30 shooting in the 8000 block of Waters Ave that left one adult male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
At around 2 a.m. officers arrived at the scene on reports of a group altercation that resulted in shots being fired. One victim was struck during the altercation, fled the scene, and checked himself into St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital. He was later transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in stable condition.
SPD was able to speak with witnesses and gather evidence at the scene. No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with info should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
