Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Nov. 29 shooting that left one adult male deceased.
Around 5 a.m., officers were called when a woman reported she was driving a man to the hospital after he’d been shot. First responders met them on the way and took over care before the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
Police have confirmed the shooting took place in the 1400 block of Benton Blvd and was not a random act, but rather an arranged meeting. Through the diligent work of detectives, a person of interest has been identified.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains active.
