SAVANNAH, GA (July 1, 2022): A 31-year-old man is facing charges after a domestic-related incident at his home on Delessepps Avenue that resulted in the stabbing of four family members.
Officers responded to the residence in the 1900 block of Delesseps Avenue around 7:30 p.m. June 30 and discovered four victims between the ages of 38 and 65 suffering from stab wounds. The suspect, identified as Roger Hendrix, was also located in the home suffering from self-inflicted stab wounds. All five of the injured parties were transported to a hospital for treatment. All of the victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries and have since been released from the hospital. The suspect remains hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation determined the suspect stabbed one of the victims. The remaining victims were injured while attempting to disarm the victim.
Upon his release from the hospital, Hendrix faces four counts of aggravated assault-DVA and single counts of terroristic threats-DVA, simple battery-DVA and cruelty to children-DVA.
