APRIL 13, 2018 UPDATE: The suspect has been identified as James Bullard Jr., 77, who has been identified as a suspect in several similar thefts of jewelry in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. Bullard does not appear to be from the Savannah area. Bullard has an active warrant for felony theft by shoplifting.
SAVANNAH, GA (March 28, 2018) – Savannah Police’s Southside Precinct detectives are seeking the identity of a man who stole a bracelet valued at more than $2,000 from a Eisenhower Drive jewelry store.
The suspect, who was described as well-dressed, older black man, entered Anderson Jewelers, 260 Eisenhower Drive, about 2:30 p.m. March 9 and requested to see several bracelets. After he left the business, an employee realized the man had pocketed a ladies’ bracelet. The incident was captured on surveillance footage.
The suspect is estimated to be between 60-70 years old and was wearing a brown suit and brown hat at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information on the suspect of the incident is asked to contact the Southside Precinct at (912) 351-3404. Information can also be forwarded to CrimeStoppers at (912) 234-2020. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
