SAVANNAH, GA (October 31, 2014) – This morning the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department welcomed 11 new officers to the force at the SCMPD Badge Pinning Ceremony at the Holiday Inn Express on E. Bay Street.
The recruits have just completed 11 weeks of state-mandated training at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Garden City, followed by an additional six weeks of Patrol School at the SCMPD Training Center.
Congratulations to officers Augustus Bostick, Mike Dogbaste, Ricky Deas, Michael Fasano, Jase Gallagher, Savana Garcia, Ryan Gizzarelli, Daniel Newman, Brian Snyder, Warren Weir and Manpreet Wood.
