UPDATE II: Annette Flood, 52, was identified as the suspect in the stabbing death of Bobby Burns, 62, on April 21. Flood turned herself in at SCMPD Headquarters on Wednesday, May 4. She is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.

SAVANNAH, GA (April 21, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred April 21 at a residence in the 600 block of East 39th Street.
Metro officers responded to the scene at approximately 5 p.m., and found a male deceased inside the residence. The name of the deceased is being withheld, pending next of kin notification. Detectives are currently canvassing the area and interviewing potential witnesses.
