SAVANNAH, GA (February 5, 2018): The Savannah Police Special Victims Unit is asking for the public’s assistance identifying a male suspect in a sexual assault investigation.
On Feb. 3, Savannah officers responded to the area of 39th Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard on reports of a sexual assault. Reportedly, the victim gave a ride to a person unknown to her at around 9:00 p.m. that evening. Soon after, the suspect sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as a black male, possibly named Earl, standing around 5-foot-10 with a thin build. His hair is styled in twists and his eyes have a cloudy appearance. He wore a red hoodie and had a brown braided belt on during the incident.
