SAVANNAH, GA (July 15, 2011): Two men wanted on robbery charges in separate incidents have turned themselves in after Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police announced warrants had been secured for their arrest.
Damen Rosean Ashley, 20, wanted for the robbery of a 22-year-old woman parked at the pavilion on Riverview Drive on Wednesday, turned himself in at SCMPD headquarters Thursday afternoon.
Reginald Lorenzo Rivers, 18, wanted for the robbery of a postal delivery person on July 1, surrendered at headquarters this morning.
SCMPD Robbery Division detectives announced Thursday that they had secured warrants against the two men for different robberies. They still seek a third man in connection with another incident.
Jamon Vernon Sutton, 24, is wanted for questioning in the armed robbery and shooting of Michael Quaterman about 11 p.m. July 7. Quaterman was shot on the first block of Thackery Place while walking with a woman. A group of males walked up, one pulled a gun and attempted to rob Quaterman. When he said he had no money, the gunman fired, hitting Quaterman. He was transported to Memorial Health Medical Center for treatment. Sutton also is wanted on a probation violation.
