SAVANNAH, GA (March 28, 2012): Inoculations are available for $6 each when the Animal Control Unit of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department holds its rabies clinic Saturday.
Animal Control officers will be on hand from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. to help handle the cats and dogs at the Animal Control Center at 7211 Sallie Mood Drive, behind the Human Society.
Micro chipping is available for $20 and Chatham County Tag Registration can be accomplished at the clinic. The center will be open for pet adoption as well.
All dogs brought to the clinic must be leashed or kenneled. Those prone to biting must be muzzled. Cats must be maintained in carriers.
