SAVANNAH, GA (January 4, 2013): The Animal Control Unit of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department has scheduled a second Rabies Clinic this Saturday Feb. 9th, 2013, after inoculating 609 animals in its Jan. 19 clinic.
The second clinic of 2013 will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Inoculations will be available for $6 each.
Animal Control officers will be on hand to help handle the cats and dogs at the Animal Control Center at 7211 Sallie Mood Drive, behind the Humane Society.
Also, this clinic will offer micro chipping for $20. During the clinic, the center will also be open for pet adoption.
All dogs brought to the clinic must be leashed or kenneled and those prone to biting must be muzzled. Cats must be brought in carriers.
