SAVANNAH, GA (April 17, 2013): The Animal Control Division of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department will be providing inoculations, heartworm testing and micro chipping of dogs and cats at discounted prices on April 27.
The Springtime Vaccination Clinic will be held from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Animal Control Center at 7211 Sallie Mood Drive behind the Humane Society.
Vaccinations, including rabies, bordetella, 4-in-1 for dogs and 5-in-1 for cats, will cost $5 each. Heartworm testing and microchip testing will be available for $20 and nail trims are available for $10.
Animal Control officers will be on hand to help handle the cats and dogs. All dogs brought to the clinic must be leashed or kenneled and those prone to biting must be muzzled. Cats must be brought in carriers.
During the clinic, the center also will be open for pet adoption.
