SAVANNAH, GA. (April 10, 2012) Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are investigating an aggravated assault that they believe stemmed from an earlier family dispute.
Just after 6:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Trey Street after receiving calls of a shooting. It turned out that the shooting was actually at a house. There were several people inside of the home at the time of the incident to include children. Nobody was injured.
Officers determined three vehicles were involved with two shooters. One gold sedan and two dark colored sedans were observed fleeing the area.
A Gold Monte Carlo has been recovered after it was discovered abandoned. The other two vehicles and the shooters are still at large.
