SAVANNAH, GA (September 2, 2017) – Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Southside Precinct officers arrested three men after they attempted to burglarize a home in the 500 block of Woodley Road on September 1.
Around 12:10 p.m., officers received a report of a burglary in progress. They responded to the area and, through quick and coordinated efforts, were able to locate the suspect vehicle and three suspects nearby.
Kareem Albany, 18; Quran Johnson, 17; and Elijah Nesbitt, 17 were taken into custody.
Albany and Nesbitt were charged with criminal attempt (burglary). Johnson was charged with possession of marijuana. When the suspects’ car was searched after their arrest, a gun was found.
