SAVANNAH, GA (September 9, 2017) – Officers from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department arrested three men on September 9 for gun and drug charges, after the men tried to evade capture.
Around 4:00 p.m., officers stopped a car near Highway 17 and Highway 204. In the middle of the traffic stop, the driver tried to flee by driving away. As the car neared Canebreak Road and Ogeechee Road, the driver and his two passengers ran from the car.
Ira Bragg, 25; Keron Brown, 24; and Joshua Hymon, 25, were quickly apprehended. During the arrest, officers recovered a gun, multiple types of drugs, and over $6,000.00 in cash.
Bragg was charged with possession of a controlled substance and obstruction.
Brown was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, fleeing to elude, and numerous other drug and traffic charges.
Hymon was charged with possession of a controlled substance and obstruction. He was also served with two warrants for previous offenses.
