SAVANNAH, GA (September 9, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Island’s Precinct detectives are seeking information on a suspicious person who made multiple attempts at getting a 13-year-old girl’s attention as she walked home from school Tuesday afternoon.

At about 3:05 p.m. on Concord and Walthour roads the suspect drove his van next to the teen and made hand gestures suggesting that he wanted to converse with her. An adult who knew the teen observed this and interjected by driving her home. There was no physical contact between the teen and the suspect.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged white male with thinning gray hair and light colored eyes. His face is clean shaven and has razor bumps. During the incident the suspect drove a van with peeling paint and purple, yellow, and green circles on one side. He was last seen driving on Walthour Road.
