SAVANNAH, GA (March 5, 2017) – The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at the Suburban Extended Stay, located in the 10600 block of Abercorn Extension at approximately 9:50 a.m. on Mar. 5.
A child, 4, was shot in the hand. Investigators say it appears there was no criminal intent involved.
Detectives are looking for a person of interest. Anthony Taylor, 41, is needed for questioning in relation to this case. He fled the scene before officers arrived. He is a black male and was last seen wearing a black Jordan shirt and black Jordan pants. He is approximately 6’2” tall and weighs 350 pounds. He has short, buzzed hair and low-cut facial hair. He was last seen driving a newer model, silver Dodge 4-door truck with a paper tag. If he is seen, please call 911.
