SAVANNAH, GA (March 1, 2017): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police officers are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 2500 block of Oak Forest Dr. at approximately 3:50 a.m. on Mar. 1. Lenoxki Smith II, 33, was shot and succumbed to his injuries. The suspect fled the scene prior to officer arrival.
Detectives are working to determine the actual circumstances leading up to the shooting.
