SAVANNAH, GA (January 27, 2015): Wanda Echols Of the DeKalb County Police Department instructs a class for communications officers at a two-day conference sanctioned by the Georgia Chapter of the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials at the Savannah Civic Center today. The classes were organized by Diane Pinckney of Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department. More than 100 communications officers from Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama are attending the classes designed to help attendees insure that their efforts in Public Safety Communications were the best possible, identify issues that could affect the quality of communications and to address them. The President of the Georgia chapter of CAPO, Debbie Vance, and Echols a Chapter Board member, facilitated the event.
