The United Way Spirit Award was presented to the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department Communications Division at Thursday’s Mayor-Council meeting. Cathy Plaster, Lt. Jeff Olsen, Stephanie Takenaka and Diane Pinkney represented the Division that collected some $4,300 for the United Way with three cookouts, a raffle and the sale of T-shirts.
