SAVANNAH, GA. (February 18, 2014): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police have released a video of a man they would like to interview in the investigation of the rape of a woman on Feb. 9 in hopes the public can help identify him.
Special Victims Unit investigators would like to talk to him about the case.
The woman was approached by a black male appearing to be in his 30s to 40s who stood about 5-10 and was wearing a black jacket, black pants as she was parking her car at Candler Hospital about 7:30 a.m., robbed her and then forced her to drive to an eastside location before she was released.
Anyone with information on the identity of the man in the video or on the case itself is asked to contact the Metro Robbery Unit at (912) 651-6694 or Special Victim’s Unit at (912) 651-6742. Tipsters also may call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637) using the keyword CSTOP2020. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
