SAVANNAH, GA (Aug. 5, 2014): Traffic investigators are searching for a car and its driver after two people on a motor scooter were injured in a hit and run crash Monday.
Officers with the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department are trying to find a blue 2002 or 2003 Acura TL. The car may have damage to the right front side.
The car had struck the side of a motor scooter being ridden by Shamar Ashley, 31, and Nikita Lomack that was traveling east on Derenne Avenue about 3:26 p.m. Both were transported to Memorial University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
