SAVANNAH, GA (December 2, 2016): Motorists can expect delays in Downtown Savannah as the annual EnMarket Savannah Bridge Run and the Savannah Waterfront Association’s Lighted Christmas Parade takes place Dec. 3.
EnMarket Savannah Bridge Run:
The EnMarket Savannah Bridge Run commences on the Talmadge Bridge beginning Saturday at 8 a.m.
Northbound and southbound lanes of the bridge will remain open during the race to vehicular traffic. Motorists will utilize the inside lanes of the bridge, while athletes will utilize the shoulder in both directions.
The Oglethorpe Avenue on and off ramps may experience closures or delays during the race, which is expected to end around 10 a.m.
Police encourage drivers to use patience and allow extra time to navigate the area.

Savannah Waterfront Association Lighted Christmas Parade:
The Lighted Christmas Parade begins on River Street at 5:30 p.m.
The parade will travel east on River Street to the East Broad Ramp, where it will then travel up to Bay Street. The route will turn south on Lincoln Street toward Broughton Street. Once on Broughton Street, the parade will travel east to Jefferson Street where it will turn north to disband along City Market.
Motorists will be impacted by road closures on the above streets while the parade is in progress.
Police encourage drivers to use patience and allow extra time to navigate the area.
