SAVANNAH, GA (December 7, 2022) – The Annual Lighted Christmas Parade will impact traffic in downtown Savannah on Dec. 10.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. It will begin at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and River Street and will run up River Street, turn right onto E. Broad Street, right onto E. Bay Street, turn left onto Lincoln Street, right onto Broughton Street, right onto Jefferson Street, left onto W. Bryan Street and will end at Franklin Square.
The parade route will close to traffic at 5 p.m. and will reopen incrementally as the parade passes, around 7 p.m. The staging area, which includes the west end of River Street from Warner Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will close at 4 p.m.
Vehicles parked along the parade route will not be able to move until the parade has passed.
