SAVANNAH, GA (September 26, 2014): The Animal Control Division of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department will be providing rabies inoculations, nail trims and micro chipping for cats and dogs Saturday, October 4, 2014.
The Fall Rabies Clinic will be held from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Animal Control Center at 7211 Sallie Mood Drive behind the Humane Society.
Rabies vaccinations and nail are available for $10 each. Micro chips, including lifetime registration, will be available for $20. Cash or checks will be accepted for payments.
Animal Control officers will be on hand to help handle the cats and dogs. All dogs brought to the clinic must be leashed or kenneled and those prone to biting must be muzzled. Cats must be brought in carriers.
The center also will be open at 11 a.m. for pet adoptions.
