SAVANNAH, GA (February 1, 2016): The Animal Control Division of Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department will host its winter vaccination clinic on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The clinic includes microchipping, vaccinations and nail trimming for cats and dogs.
DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations are available for dogs. The FVRCP vaccine is available for cats. Rabies vaccinations, microchipping with lifetime registration and nail cutting will be available for both dogs and cats. All services are $10 except for microchipping, which will be $20. Payments in the form of cash, checks and money orders will be accepted.
Animal Control officers will be on hand to help handle the cats and dogs. All dogs brought to the clinic must be leashed or kenneled. Those prone to biting must be muzzled. Cats must be brought in carriers.
The winter clinic will take place at the animal shelter, located at 7211 Sallie Mood Drive.
