SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is on the scene of an officer involved shooting in the 4300 block of Ogeechee Road.
An adult male suspect was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The involved officer was not injured. Per SPD policy, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called and will be taking over investigation of the incident.
