SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a March 9 shooting in the 200 block of West 61st Street that left one adult male deceased.
SPD responded to the scene based on a ShotSpotter report at around 10 p.m. and discovered the victim suffering from a serious gunshot wound. The victim was provided immediate medical treatment and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
Homicide and forensic units responded to the scene. The scene was processed by forensics and evidence was collected.
