Update: A male juvenile was arrested in connection with the Feb. 10 shooting in the 1000 block of West 39th Street. He was taken into custody on Feb. 21. He has been charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
SAVANNAH (Feb. 11) – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a Feb. 10 shooting in the 1000 block of West 39th Street that left one male juvenile with life-threatening injuries.
SPD responded to the scene at roughly 2:15 p.m. based on the reports of a shooting and discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was treated on the scene and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
