SAVANNAH, GA (November 9, 2015): Islands Precinct investigators of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department are searching for three suspects who entered a Savannah wholesale store and attempted to steal hundreds of dollars’ worth of meat, with a child present throughout the ordeal.
The incident occurred on Thursday, Oct. 29, at Sam’s Club on Montgomery Cross Road. The trio consists of two females and one male. The suspects left without the meat as staff members observed their activities and approached them. The suspects fled the scene in a U-Haul van. Investigators believe these suspects may be linked to a similar theft committed on the same day at Sam’s Club in Pooler.
The first suspect is a heavy set black female who appears to be in her late teens to early twenties, with shoulder-length two-toned hair. During the incident she wore a purple hooded sweatshirt with a zipper and blue jeans and carried a large tote bag. The second suspect is a heavy set black female, possibly in her late 30s to early 40s. She wore braided hair, a dark jacket, striped shirt, blue jeans and a large tote bag. The third suspect is a black male in his 20s with a slender build. During the incident he wore a black long sleeve shirt, dark pants and dark colored shoes that may have been Adidas.
