SAVANNAH, GA (June 9, 2015): The Monday afternoon shooting of a man in an apartment containing a quantity of drugs and items commonly used in their distribution has Violent Crimes detectives looking for witnesses.
Responding Southside Precinct patrol officers of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department found Marcus Decarl Echols, 21, with a gunshot wound in his apartment on the 10000 block of Abercorn Street about 5:20 p.m. His injuries were described as serious.
Detectives are trying to identify anyone leaving the scene in that time frame.
