SAVANNAH, GA (January 13, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Robbery Unit is investigating an armed robbery at Frazier Homes on the 500 block of West Gwinnett Street, that left a Savannah woman injured on Tuesday night.
At about 11:30 p.m. Metro and EMS responded to the scene where the 17-year-old victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The victim was reportedly approached by a male suspect armed with a gun. The suspect struck the victim with the gun multiple times during a robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, standing 5-7 to 6-3, with a muscular build. During the incident he wore a black hoodie with a gray design and black pants. The suspect was last seen traveling southbound on foot.
