SAVANNAH, GA (October 20, 2017): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police officers responded to a report of a crash on President Street, near Pennsylvania Avenue, at approximately 3:20 p.m. on October 20.
A car was traveling on President Street, when a 13-year-old male reportedly ran into the street, in front of the car. The driver was not able to stop in time, and collided with the male.
The 13-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
At this time, no other injuries have been reported.
The Traffic Investigation Unit (TIU) responded to the scene. This investigation is ongoing.
