SAVANNAH, GA (June 11, 2022): SPD’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating an incident on White Bluff Road on June 10 that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
According to a preliminary investigation, a tractor trailer was attempting to turn from White Bluff Road onto Lee Boulevard around 3 p.m. when the truck struck a low-hanging power line, resulting in the lines falling into the roadway. The motorcycle, driven by Brian Easley, 49, struck the downed lines. He died as a result of the injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
