SAVANNAH (Nov. 26) – The Savannah Police Department responded to a fatal hit and run traffic collision on Abercorn Street, south of White Bluff Road, that resulted in the death of one adult male.
At around 6:30 p.m. SPD officers responded to the scene and discovered a pedestrian who had been
struck by a vehicle while crossing the street, resulting in a fatal injury. The suspect also struck another
vehicle before fleeing the scene.
