SAVANNAH, GA (July 18, 2018) – Savannah Police’s Traffic Investigation Unit (TIU) is investigating a hit and run that seriously injured a bicyclist early this morning.
At approximately 12:45 a.m., Jerry Hodge, 34, driving a bicycle, was traveling east on Abercorn Street near Arts drive when he was struck in the rear. The vehicle that struck him continued traveling east. Police were called after Hodge was found by a concerned citizen. He was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
