SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department has arrested 42-year-old Julian Bryant in connection to a December 11, 2022 homicide that occurred in the 90 block of Gateway Boulevard West. Bryant was taken into custody on July 17.
On Dec. 11, 2022, SPD officers responded to the first block of Gateway Boulevard West around 10:30 p.m. for a disorderly person. Upon arrival, they discovered Marvin Sintell Swan, 40, suffering from gunshot wounds. He died as a result of his injuries. Further investigation led to identifying Bryant as a suspect in this incident.
SPD’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and Community Response Team (CRT) arrested Bryant on July 17, 2026. Bryant was charged with murder and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. He was transported to the Chatham County Detention Center.
