SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department has arrested a male juvenile in connection with the Feb. 12 fatal shooting that occurred in the 1800 block of Northgate Dr.
Officers responded to the scene at around 2:30 p.m. on reports of a shooting. Upon arrival officers discovered the adult female victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Life-saving measures were attempted but the victim ultimately succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Police located the suspect near the scene and took him into custody. He was charged with murder and transported to the Savannah Regional Youth Detention Center.
