Savannah – The Savannah Police Department has arrested Anthony Joyner, 47, in connection to an incident of aggravated battery that occurred on May 10 in the 600 block of W. 39th St. The use of Flock Safety technology was integral in identifying him and arresting him for this incident.
On July 9 at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in a parking lot located in the 2800 block of Montgomery St. The driver of the vehicle, Joyner, had an active warrant issued by SPD for aggravated battery as well as a suspended driver’s license. Additionally, a search of the vehicle revealed possession of a controlled substance.
Joyner was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, improper passing, driving with a suspended license, and aggravated battery.
