Savannah – On April 15 the Savannah Police Department located and arrested Hershel Tanksley, 25 and charged him with aggravated assault following a Frazier Homes roll call in the street.
On Feb. 10, 2025 at around 10:30 a.m. SPD responded to a domestic violence incident in the 600 block of W. Gwinnett Ct. After investigating the incident, an aggravated assault warrant was secured for Tanksley.
Tanksley was taken into custody without incident at around 6:30 p.m. and transported to the Chatham County Detention Center. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
