SPD investigating a shooting at W. 48th Street and Burroughs Street

SAVANNAH (July 14) – The Savannah Police Department has made an arrest related to the July 14 shooting at W. 48th Street and Burroughs Street.  that resulted in the non-life-threatening injury of one person.

At just after 1 p.m. officers arrived at the scene of the shooting and discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Memorial University Medical Center by emergency medical services where he remains in stable condition.

Detectives continue to investigate the incident. No arrests have currently been made in the case, but SPD has identified a suspect.  Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020.
