SAVANNAH– The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Nov. 20 shooting near the intersection of Deerfield Rd. and Abercorn St. that left two adult males with non-life-threatening injuries.
At around 8:00 p.m. officers responded to St. Joseph’s Hospital to a report of someone walking into the emergency room suffering from a gunshot wound. At 8:15 p.m. additional officers responded to reports of a wounded man near the intersection of Deerfield Rd. and Abercorn St. The second victim was located, provided first aid, and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for additional treatment.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
