SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a shooting near the intersection of E. 32nd Lane and Waters Ave. that resulted in non-life-threatening injury to an adult male.
On March 23 at approximately 2 p.m., officers responded to reports of a walk-in gunshot victim at Memorial Health University Medical Center. The victim had suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound between the neck and shoulder.
The victim indicated he was approached by another adult male near the intersection of E. 32nd Lane and Waters Ave. A confrontation ensued, resulting in the gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
