SAVANNAH (Aug 7) – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating an Aug. 6 shooting in the 4000 block of Boyd Street that resulted in the death of an adult female victim.
At 2 a.m., Savannah Police Officers and Emergency Medical Services arrived at the location and discovered the victim. Despite immediate emergency life-saving measures being taken, the victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Numerous witnesses were interviewed, and the residence was searched.
Detectives continue to investigate the incident. No arrests have currently been made in the case. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020.
