Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating an Oct. 19 shooting in the 1400 block of Augusta Ave. that resulted in non-life-threatening injury to an adult male.
Officers responded to a shooting in the area at approximately 3:40 a.m. They found the victim on the scene, who had sustained a gunshot wound to his upper thigh. EMS responded and transported him to Memorial Health University Medical Center for further treatment.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
