SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a May 2 homicide in the 900 block of Elliott Avenue.
Police responded to the scene at 8:05 p.m. following audible gunshots being heard by an off-duty officer. On the scene officers located an adult male victim who sustained serious injuries. The victim was transported to Memorial for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
