SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating an Aug. 8 shooting in the 900 block of Wexler Street that left one adult male with life-threatening gunshot wounds.
At 8:43 a.m. SPD officers responded to the scene based on reports of gunfire. Upon arrival they discovered an adult male victim. He was given medical aid and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020 or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
