SAVANNAH, GA (November 16, 2019) – Savannah Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit is investigating a fatal shooting on Seminole Street that resulted in the death of a teen girl on Nov. 15.
Around 8:40 p.m. Jeremiah Seaton, 16, arrived at Central Precinct to report that he had shot his girlfriend on Seminole Street. Officers arrived in the 200 block of Seminole Street and discovered the 13-year-old girl deceased from gunshot wounds outside a residence. An investigation revealed that following the shooting, the suspect left the location and later arrived at the precinct to report the incident.
The suspect has been taken into custody and charged with murder. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
