SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating an April 7 fatal shooting in the 2000 block of N. Fernwood Dr. that left one adult male deceased.
Officers responded to the scene at around 3:10 p.m. based on reports of gunshots. Once on the scene, police discovered the unresponsive victim in front of a residence. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. SPD has identified a person of interest. No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
