SPD investigates death in the 1100 block of Parnell Avenue (Updated)

Update: The Savannah Police Department is now investigating this case as a homicide.

SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Dec. 7 death in the 1100 block of Parnell Avenue.

At around 6:36 a.m. officers responded to the scene based on reports of an unresponsive adult male.  The man was located and determined to be deceased by first responders.  His body was taken into the custody of the Deputy Corner.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-2342020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
