SPD investigates a shooting on the 200 block of Birchfield Drive

SAVANNAH (Dec. 13) – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a Dec. 12 shooting in the 200 block of Birchfield Drive that left one adult female and one minor with non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
SPD officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered the two victims on the scene. The victims reported they were shot when another vehicle pulled up and opened fire on them.
The victims were treated and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center. SPD is currently following up on leads and the investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made. Anyone with info should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
